• Effort Foundry moves one step closer to supplying castings directly to Electric Boat and Newport News
    • The onboarding process is in full swing at Electric Boat
    • Electric Boat has audited Effort’s Radiography Lab
    • Newport News has sent direct quotes to Effort for bidding
  • Effort Foundry Schools
    • Year to date Effort Foundry has presented 4-hour-long foundry schools to customers sites to 15 different customers at their locations. Additionally, a full-day on-site Effort Foundry Open House School was done in May of 2023, and the next open house is planned for September 18, 2024.
    • It is time to schedule your on-site foundry school for 2024. Please contact Renee Sapone to schedule at 610-837-1837 or rsapone@effortfoundry.com.
  • Effort Foundry opened a new lunch room for all employees. The air-conditioned area is a welcomed relief for our “Foundry men/women”
  • Effort Foundry has been forced out of its 20,000+ sq foot pattern storage location. Effort has negotiated a new lease for a new storage location that will allow us to store all patterns in one location now. The new storage location will result in the following:
    • Charging for all pattern storage with no use
    • Disposal of unused patterns
    • Return unused patterns to customers
  • Please review our updated list of alloys cast by Effort Foundry with pride. We offer one of the largest selections of alloys available to cast.
  • The growth of patternless casting approaches 15% of total production, and Effort Foundry has added a 4th digital engineer to ensure we can keep up with the demand.
    • Please see the article highlighting our 4 engineers who model, scan, simulate, and engineer printed cores, molds, 5-axis, and one-time foam patterns.
