On Flag Day, June 14, 2024, Effort Foundry celebrated Flag Day with our annual Flag Day / Hot Dog Day party.
Over 300 hot dogs were grilled by chef Mike DeReinzi prior to the start of the festivities. All employees stood and honored the flag with a group rendition of The Pledge of Allegiance.
A hot dog eating contest was also part of the day, with winners receiving gift cards ranging from $50–$100. Employee Scott Fitzgerald won the grill! Over $1,000 in door prizes were given away to employees in celebration of over 5 months of no reportable accidents!
A great time was had by all!
